This one is much longer and more complete than the last one. It is a remix of the "I got no strings" song from the Disney movie Pinocchio. It also includes me singing at one part! (vocoded of course) I very much enjoy to hear the vocoder-only versions of songs which have vocoders, so here is that part of mine (without instrumental): http://keaton-world.com/music/pinnoK_vocode_only.mp3

DOWNLOAD THE SONG AND LISTEN TO IT, AND DON'T LET DISNEY SUE ME CUZ I PROBABLY WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO PAY THEM FOR THE DAMAGES INFRINGED AGAINST THEM!!

Weekly-Song #15 - "Holiday for Strings (remix)"

What week am I supposed to be on? ARGH!!!@#!#@ I am REALLY getting behind now. And to make up for it all, I present you with a 30 second song. YES, 30 seconds. The project file is rather convoluted so I assume I'll never go back to trying to extending it, BUT who knows!

Just think of this 30 second song as one of those short intermediate tracks you find on a CD that isn't really a song, but is usually just the band saying something or a strange sound clip.

ENJOY I GUESS

Weekly-Song #14 - "carnival"

behind on releasing these weekly-songs because of EXAMS AND STUFF. I'll catch up soooooooooooon.

This week's is kind of similar to "Lingering Resentment". ENJOY

Weekly-Song #13 - "Blondie - Call Me (remix)"

For anyone keeping track, YES, I should be on Weekly-Song #15, sorry for BLOWIN IT, I'VE BEEN BUSY. I'm sure I'll more than catch up in the summer.

This week's song is a remix of "Call Me" by Blondie. I used the actual vocal-only track from the original song and worked around it to make this! I HOPE YOU LOVE IT.

Weekly-Song #12 - "Lingering Resentment"

This week's song I've been working on forever. I was aiming for it to sound like the music from a super hero movie, then made it transition into an uptempo techno-y dance song! HOPEFULLY YOU LOVE IT.

Weekly-Song #11 - "Hotel Mario (dance remix)"

SO I GOT A WEEK BEHIND ON MY WEEKLY SONGS. Meaning my goal is to release one more song, besides this one, by the end of the weekend.

This week's (last week's) song is a dance remix of the theme to Hotel Mario. If you haven't heard of Hotel Mario, look it up on the internet (ww.goole.ge.com/search-for-mario).

Here is the MP3:

also, this seems like one of those songs that I will randomly come across on youtube later, so this seems like a semi-good place to say: you may use my songs for videos as long as you're not making money, and you clearly credit me for the music with a link to my website (www.keaton-world.com).

Weekly-Song #10 - "Let me make it up to you"

busy busy busy busy!

I didn't have time to really finish a song for this week. So if this one feels like the ending of this one is really thrown together, you're correct! LOLOLOLOLOOLOLOOL

Weekly-Song #9 - "summerX"

First of all, happy anniversary to this blog which I started exactly 1 year ago today!

Now onto the Weekly-Song.

I started this one to celebrate the beginning of Summer 2008! Unfortunately, it took me 9 or 10 months to get around to finishing this. I released a semi-finished version on newgrounds in November, where it seems to have been well received. That's also where it got the title "summerX" rather than just "summer" because that title had already been taken. I particularly like this track, I HOPE YOU DO TOO!

Also, side note:

I released a song for YTMND, about YTMND comments. It's called "prairiedogeric10 reads comments (fun times mix)". If you'd like to be a wonderful person, you can purchase it for 99 cent on my music page. It's certainly not the greatest track you're ever going to hear from me, but think of it as my retarded gift to you, for a very generous dollar donation (which I really will appreciate). I plan on selling more appealing songs in the future, but for right now, I'd like to give out all my favorite stuff for free.

Weekly-Song #8 - "NEDM Ragtime / Dance"

I try to get these released on the weekends, BUT IT'S MONDAY!!

This week I'm releasing an MP3 composed of two remixes of the same song. They are both short remixes of "We Interrupt This Programme" by Coburn. I made them both at some point for YTMND, and have now combined them into one incredible 2 minute MP3!!!!

Weekly-Song #7 - "Anniversary"

I first started making this song in late 2007, to release as the one year anniversary song for Funtastic Power! on January 7th, 2008. Now, the 2nd year anniversary has passed, and I'm not releasing it until today!!! If you're a stalkerish fan-boy or sexy fan-girl you will recognize this song because I have put it on at least one surprisingly high rated (and high viewed) YTMND and released an almost finished version on last.fm.

The song is still called Anniversary, and is still celebrating the ONE year anniversary of Funtastic Power! from over a year ago. Ah, how far I have come from the release of those first few songs. I don't actually remember which songs were the first songs. I know "Level 1" is supposed to be the first one, and apparently, according to my ancient news post, there were 10 released on the first day. NICE

I promise that I have a lot of releases queued up that are not just more completed versions of songs I've had done for, literally, years. I just continue to hold off on my favorite songs I'm working on because I feel like they have a lot of potential to be even better!! The Muse one from last week is one of the good ones though. Go back and listen to it, if you haven't already!
